Adrian Werum

In 2010 Adrian Werum founded "Orchestra of Cultures" in Stuttgart / Germany and since then acts as composer as well as Musical & Artistic Director. He was the music director of the world premiere of Roman Polanski's musical adaptation of "Dance of the Vampires" and also premiered the show on Broadway. His operetta "Hollywood Diva" has been playing to sold-out audiences at the St. Petersburg Operetta Theater since 2014 and was voted Russia's best new musical in 2016. He is "composer in residence" at Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City. His CD- productions with tenor Jay Alexander made him the top of the German classical music charts in 2015, 2017 and 2019. In 2016, he produced a new musical featuring refugees from the Middle East. He is currently writing a musical setting of Hermann Hesse's novel "Narcissus and Goldmund."
