BIOGRAPHY
Adrian Werum was born into an art-loving family of Upper Silesian miners and Rhine merchants.
Growing up in Mainz on the Rhine, he received his first piano lessons from his father and later received a comprehensive education in piano, violin and composition at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory.
He used his studies in composition, conducting and jazz arrangement in Vienna to work as a solo repetiteur at the dance and vocal studio of the Theater an der Wien after 3 years.
From there he was taken on as conductor at the Raimundtheater, where he led the production of "Dance of the Vampires", directed by Roman Polanski, to world fame.
Since then he has worked internationally as a musical director, supervisor, composer and arranger.
He has been the director of the "Orchestra of Cultures", which he founded in 2010.
